Since 2022, my research focus is privacy-enhancing technologies, notably trusted execution environments and distributed ledgers (blockchains).
From 2016 to 2022, I worked on privacy in large-scale systems: end-to-end encryption, access control, trusted execution environments, key management, anonymity, and revocation. My PhD thesis (2019) on cryptographic access control for remote storage is available here: thesis link.
Between 2014 and 2016, I focused on machine learning and hybrid classifiers, mixing statistical inference with symbolic logic — see an example applied to remote sensing: pdf.
I have been in the software industry since 2006. I am currently Director of Technical Intelligence at Input Output, the blockchain research and engineering company behind Cardano. Previously, I was Chief Operating Officer at Parsec, the French end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. Before that, I held engineering roles with Microsoft and the United Nations. I remain a hands-on coder, switching easily between research, leadership, and code.
